“Never give up on something you can’t go a day without thinking about.” – Winston Churchill
Greetings, everyone, and welcome to Day #91 in A Year of Positivity! I hope this weekend went well for you. It’s been a big mix of emotions for me in several areas of my life. The quote I’m discussing tonight is a quote from Winston Churchill, which I needed to read, “Never give up on something you can’t go a day without thinking about.”
This speaks to me about my passion for writing, along with a couple other things I’ll just keep to myself right now (I don’t want to jinx things that may be in the works). Writing really speaks to me in a way nothing else has. It’s something I can pour my whole heart into, and let my mind soar new, limitless, even crazy heights with explosive creativity. It’s something that allows me to be free and authentically me. I absolutely love my craft, how it’s something I can continually improve in, and I love absolutely love to grow in this field.
I have so many ideas swimming around in my head, even a couple non-fiction ideas, actually! There are so many thrilling worlds waiting for me to create, and even more equally exciting characters to birth! It was a terrible day for me today because I found out something about a huge part of my life, and it made me question everything. However, after reading today’s quote, I’m now calmly reminded of what really matters. I see something in my horizon, and it’s showed me that what I’m going through in my life right now, it’s just a season. I can get through this. I’ve got it in me to hang in there, remain steadfast, and most of all, keep my patience.
Thank you, Mr. Churchill.
Thank you for lifting me up when I needed it most.
