“With the new day comes new strengths and new thoughts.”
– Eleanor Roosevelt
Welcome to Day #32 in A Year of Positivity! Today’s post will be short. The quote I chose for today comes from Eleanor Roosevelt, “With the new day comes new strengths and new thoughts.”
I think it’s a beautiful quote because it means no matter how bad our day has been, tomorrow will be a new day, and it will bring new strengths and new thoughts. We could take this to mean a couple different things. It can mean we have been given a new opportunity to try, try again, the things we failed in. It could also mean the start of something new, like a new adventure perhaps, or a new way of doing something differently to reach success. Sometimes, when we’ve exhausted all options to resolve an issue of the past, it means a lesson to carry into the new day, an opportunity to show we’ve learned from our mistakes, moved on, and decide to be and do better going forward.
What does this quote mean to you? Take a few moments to think about it. Regardless of one’s circumstances, there are endless opportunities and joys that are just waiting to be seized in the new day when it arrives. Don’t be afraid to go after them. The new day is a clean slate, a fresh new page in the book of your life, which means it’s a new opportunity to live and do and be your best you.
