Day #31 in A Year of Positivity

Hello, everyone, and thank you for checking out Day #31 in A Year of Positivity!

This one will be a little short. My laptop needs to charge, and I don’t like charging things during a storm, which we’re presently experiencing. So, I’m using a tablet, and it’s making it a challenge to work on here, so I will do my best.

As for today’s quote, it comes from Dr. Seuss, “Why fit in when you were born to stand out?” I love this quote because it reminds me of my teenage years where I tried to fit in and be normal. It feels like it took me way too long to figure out that I’m not meant to fit in, and being normal is relative.

If I could go back to my teenage yesteryears, I’d fingersnap myself into reality and tell myself to just be me and not give a hoot on what others think of me. When you’re not trying to fit in, life is so much simpler. When you’re being true to who you are, your authenticity will shine through.

We’re not meant to fit in, ladies and gentlemen. We’re all so different, and the colors of our authenticity are different from everyone else’s. There’s only one of you, one of me. Make it matter. Be yourself. The world is such a majestic wonder, and even more so when we’re all showing our true and beautiful authentic colors.
