Day #17 in A Year of Positivity

“A little progress each day adds up to big results.”
Satya Nani

Ciao, folks, and welcome back to A Year of Positivity! I’m unfortunately running short on time today, as I have a lot to do, so this post will be a short one.

Today’s quote is brought to you by Satya Nani, “A little progress each day adds up to big results.” This is a valuable one to keep. I know I’m seeing this first hand with the occupational therapy sessions I’m going through with my left wrist.

Every day I do a few exercises throughout the day, including 15-minute heat treatments, to help warm up my muscles and tendons so that they work better as I flex my muscles and tendons in my wrist. Most of the time it feels like I’m not really seeing any results, and it’s almost makes me feel defeated. However, every time I go to a therapy session, all of my finger, thumb, and wrist range of motions are measured, and each time the therapist tells me I’ve improved on every single range of motion.

So, while even though it doesn’t seem like I’m improving in my daily exercises done throughout the day, just that little bit, day by day, really says a lot for my progress! Pretty soon, I’ll be back to full range of motion in every category, and before I know it, my wrist will have healed! That being said, I hope you will carry today’s quote with you as a means of motivation wherever you may need it.

Don’t give up on the progress, no matter how small, or how slow it may be. Keep moving through it, and you’ll see results before you know it!
