“Nothing is impossible. The word itself says I’m possible.”
– Audrey Hepburn
Welcome to Day #1 in A Year of Positivity!
Today’s post is the first post in a long and positive journey. I’m excited to share this project with you, as it’s not just a year of challenge for me, but can be for you too. You can enjoy this as a fun little daily read, or you could also apply the quotes of positivity to your own life in one way or another. That being said, let’s talk about a well-known quote spoken by the famous Audrey Hepburn, “Nothing is impossible. The word itself says I’m possible.” I chose this quote because it’s a really versatile quote, and can be used for any circumstance or situation.
A lot of us, including myself, find that something (perhaps on a daily basis or every other day) causes us to use the word ‘impossible’ – usually when we’ve come across something we’re attempting to do, or we’re trying to go somewhere and something happens. We start thinking things like, “This is impossible. What are we going to do?”
Well, if you find yourself in a situation where you say that whatever is happening will be impossible or next to impossible to overcome, you can break down that word ‘impossible’ into two words: I’M + POSSIBLE. A perfect example of how to use these words broken down would be, “I’M going to make this POSSIBLE.”
Personally, ‘impossible’ is an overly used term in my vocabulary. I say it’s time for me to lose that negativity! So, going forward, I’m going to think more outside the box rather than using the word ‘impossible’, or maybe be a little patient. I’m Irish and I’m stubborn, so patience is not my best quality. Still, though, it takes a little patience and perseverence, along with a little thinking outside the box, to overcome a situation that seems impossible, even though it’s not.
So, with that said, nothing is impossible.
I can do it. You can do it. We can do it.
