Day #94 in A Year of Thanks:
I’m thankful for being able to rest in the Lord.

I’m not afraid to admit that I have a big heart, and with that heart come big emotions. Sometimes, I find myself experiencing a range of emotions, combining everything from grief to joy, all within a short time frame, which can be overwhelming enough to bring me to tears and soul exhaustion, especially when there’s a multitude of reasons why I’m feeling so many emotions all at once. The best remedy I’ve learned to adopt for this is resting in the Lord. Just letting go of it all, entrusting all my anxieties and cares to Jesus, and imagining myself before His presence is enough for me. I’m thankful for being able to rest in the Lord, as it means a time of refreshing and renewal for my spirit, and Abba’s timing is always perfect when I need it.
