Day #48 in A Year of Positivity

“Keep your face to the sunshine, and you cannot see a shadow.” – Helen Keller

Ciao, my darling readers, and thank you for joining me on Day #48 in A Year of Positivity! I found another cool quote by Helen Keller, “Keep your face to the sunshine, and you cannot see a shadow.”

I love this quote because the ‘shadow’ in this quote can symbolize several things. It could be a reference to things like shame and guilt, doubt and hopelessness, just to name a few. It goes to show that this is another versatile quote. When we speak of shadows in this quote, it’s considered a form of negativity that can set you back in your journey of moving forward. However, light will always drive out the darkness. Light is good and warm, and it’s the best thing for you.

When you feel shame, or guilt, or doubt, or hopelessness, or anything other form of emotion that’s affecting you in a negative way, don’t keep your eyes on the shadows. Instead, look to the sunshine, feel the warmth of this glorious light wash over you. See the good in everything around you, as well as in the things to come. And, remember, if you keep your face to the sunshine, the shadows will lose.
