Greetings to all and thank you for visiting Day #22 in A Year of Positivity. Today’s quote is a quote I’ve seen many times over, all over the internet, and I’m excited to share it with you. “Sing like no one’s listening, love like you’ve never been hurt, dance like nobody’s watching, and live like it’s heaven on earth.”

I think this is a quote everyone’s heard at some point or other in their lives. Some even carry it as their motto in living carefree lives. There’s something to be said for applying this quote to your life. When you sing, thinking that no one is listening, you’re probably belting out the tunes you’re singing in as loud a volume as you boldly desire. When you are dancing as you believe no one to be watching you, there’s unmeasurable joy in the way you dance your heart out.

To wear your heart on your sleeve, only to have it hurt, broken, and betrayed. That must be one of the hardest thing to deal with. But, to endure that pain, only to trust another with everything your heart has to offer, as if you’d never been hurt to begin with, is truly one of the most courageous and inspirational things a person can do. I know this is also one of the hardest things to do, after one has been burned once or too many times, to trust another with such a precious part of ourselves. I, myself, have been through it a few times, so I completely understand.

To live like it’s heaven on earth. Well, my interpretation of this is to be counting our blessings, and being thankful to be alive to see another day, and to look at the world with an open mind and heart. See our majestic Earth for all her true splendor and glory. Look to the stars and think of how small we are compared to the vastness of space. There’s so much wonder to the cosmos, and there’s so much beauty in so many living, breathing life forms all around us. To be here, on this magnificent orb of a rock, on the only planet we know has life, is a miracle.

I could go on and on, but the point is, there’s value, incredible value to living life like the way this quote says to live it. If you haven’t tried it, perhaps you should. What have you got to lose? Go ahead and sing like no one’s listening, love like you’ve never been hurt, dance like nobody’s watching, and live like it’s heaven on earth. We’re only here on this planet for so long, y’all.
