“It is said that the darkest hour of the night comes just before the dawn.” – Thomas Fuller
Hello and thank you for checking out Day #20 in A Year of Positivity! Today’s quote is brought to you by Thomas Fuller, “It is said that the darkest hour of the night comes just before the dawn.”
This is a pretty interesting quote, because not only does it apply literally, but it also applies metaphorically in so many ways. We all go through many major ups and downs in our lives. When we’re going through a tough time, sometimes it can feel like we’re trapped, stuck in a never-ending cycle of things always going wrong.
That would be considered a dark hour, maybe even the darkest hour before the dawn, before the beauty and the light returns. For some of us, the darkest hours can be a few days, maybe a few weeks, or perhaps even a few months. Every person’s life experiences and struggles are different from the next, and everyone’s seasons of their darkest hours in the night vary in length, but the dawn will always follow.
We can use today’s quote as a means of motivation to keep moving forward. If you’re having a hard time, keep in mind that your struggles won’t last forever, even if it seems like it. A time will come soon for your dawn to rise up from the darkest hour. Have faith and hope that better things are coming. Don’t give up because your dawn of beauty and light is coming.
