Day #365 in a Year of Thanks

Day #365 in a Year of Thanks:
I’m thankful for the wonderful year of 2025.

2025 did not go at all the way I had expected it to go. It kind of started with COVID and a cold snap that killed the battery of our car. But! Things got better as the year progressed. Summer was a blast with a mini trip to Connecticut that I took to catch up with an old friend, and we enjoyed a concert of one of our favorite bands.

Then there was our lovely trip Grams and I took to visit our family in Michigan that we missed so much. Oh, and how can I forget the additional precious moments of hosting other family for not only Thanksgiving, but also Christmas? 2025 was even a year of finding and keeping new friends, enjoying the process of a lot of personal growth, and achieving so many personal goals! So many valuable lessons were learned this year, and so many beautiful memories were created. I hate to say goodbye to 2025, but I’m looking forward to 2026 as well, so I plan on raising a glass tonight at midnight in sincere appreciation of everything 2025 had to offer while also joyously welcoming the new year.

Wherever you are ringing in the new year, please be safe on the roads. I hope you and your family have a fun time. Happy New Year!
