Day #308 in a Year of Thanks:
I’m thankful for a wonderful afternoon with family in Frankenmuth.
Grams and I went with one of our cousins to visit one of our favorite places of Michigan—Frankenmuth. We enjoyed a very delicious lunch at the Bavarian Inn, and then we walked around the River Place Shops for a while. We got to enjoy some specialty bubble tea drinks, try out some new flavors of honey at Sticky Situations, and I restocked on my favorite Cherry Maple infused Elk jerky only available at the Jerky Joint. Of course, I was also a little naughty and got a few begnets at N’Orlins as we were leaving. There is so much more to do in Frankenmuth, but Grams wasn’t feeling very well, so we decided to cut our visit short in the city. Perhaps we may go back another day this week, or just appreciate the time we had, until our next trip back here to Michigan. We absolutely love Frankenmuth, and we have quite a few precious memories there. We’ll be back again someday soon, Frankenmuth!
