Some Micro Habits with a Massive Return on Life

Part 1:

  • Take care of your information diet by intentionally curating your social media feeds, along with other sources of information, like YouTube and other platforms.
  • Consume educational content at 1.5 times the speed.
  • Put your phone and tablet/iPad in grayscale mode to reduce your overall screen time, as your brain is attracted to color and will get bored faster, becoming less interested in your smart tech.
  • Swap your phone for a Kindle or a book at bedtime, and even better, you can incorporate some sort of educational or personal growth book or eBook, as your brain will continue to process and store that information while you’re sleeping.
  • Learn to use the 4-7-8 breathing technique to fall asleep quickly.
  • Wait at least 24 hours before making any final decisions on a big purchase.
  • Drink a full glass of water as soon as you wake up.
  • Write down your top 3 priorities for the day before starting work (or do it the night before you go to bed).
  • Block out 60 minutes each morning for your most passionate or important project.
  • Do 1 minute of stretching for every 30 minutes of sitting.
