Sunday Reset Task
Are you looking for a way to get ahead during the week? Here’s a simple approach below that you could try, and it doesn’t require too much of your time. The best part is that it’s a great productivity booster, providing that “feel-good” mood boost we all enjoy from time to time when we feel like we’re on top of the world, and actually getting things done after being stuck in a rut. Completing a Sunday reset task can give you a half-hour to an hour of clarity today while also saving countless hours of chaos during the week. Here’s how it works:
- On a piece of paper, write down your top 3 priorities for the week.
- Block time for them on your calendar during the week.
- Prepare one thing in advance, whether it’s meals, clothes, workspace, etc. (Tip: The more things that are prepared, the smoother things will go during the week.)
By dedicating 30 minutes to an hour to this Sunday’s Reset Task, you are setting your week up with intention while reclaiming control of how you spend your time. This Sunday Reset Task is a fantastic way to effectively manage your time with peace of mind over your weekly goal accomplishments. Give it a try, and you’ll see. I’m going to try it, too, and I have a feeling it’ll become one of my new favorite things to do every Sunday going forward.
