This is a pretty good quote. The only adjustment I think I would make to it personally is modifying the “to-do” list part, because some things are unavoidable and shouldn’t be avoided. However, I believe there should be a prioritization of one’s own health over specific tasks that can be set aside for another day, depending on the task. As far as the other stuff goes, I’ve been incorporating it into my self-care, and it’s definitely been helpful for my nervous system. We all need our nervous systems to be rebalanced now and then. If you’ve been feeling like you need a reset, then now’s a good time to implement one or more of the aforementioned suggestions in today’s quote.
