Day #225 in A Year of Thanks:
I’m thankful we didn’t got just the right amount of rain.

This one may sound a bit silly, but Grams and I caught our porch almost flooding from the torrential downpour and the front gutters being blocked. Technically, it’s only one side of the gutters, so we’re thinking there’s a bird’s nest or something up there, which we’ll get to on a day we have time to get a closer look. Thankfully, the porch didn’t flood too much, and the rainstorm only lasted for a while, just long enough for the garden to get the water it needed. It was also calming to stand out on the porch and watch the rainstorm (in the non-flooded part, lol).
