Day #212 in A Year of Thanks:
I’m thankful that my new Irish dancing ghillies arrived in the mail today.

I knew my old pair of Irish dancing ghillies were worn out, but I hadn’t realized by how much until I got the new ones in the mail today. Seeing and feeling the new soles on my new suede soft shoes was a good reminder that the soles on my old ones are done for. I couldn’t go to the old store I used to go to in Bethlehem, because they don’t sell them anymore, so I ordered these new ghillies online from Fay’s in NY. They look and feel high quality, and they’re a perfect fit for my little feet. I’m excited to break them in!
