Day #169 in A Year of Thanks:
I’m thankful I got to my destination safely and had a good evening.

It took an hour longer than I expected to arrive because of traffic delays, but I eventually reached my destination and checked into my hotel. Afterward, I met up with a good friend I hadn’t seen in eighteen years, and together we went to a concert, having a grand old time while catching up. Now, I’m back in my hotel room and ready for some good old-fashioned relaxation.
