Day #149 in A Year of Thanks

Day #149 in A Year of Thanks:
I’m thankful for all the struggles I’ve faced.

As I wrote today’s quote of positivity, I couldn’t help but think back to the past and reflect on all that I’ve been through. The things we go through really shape us, whether it’s for better or worse. I think part of why we go through any struggles at all is so we can learn to find beauty in the chaos, become better equipped to handle life, and appreciate how well we had things before the struggles at hand. Additionally, it teaches us humility and shows us how to be more supportive of others going through similar situations. I know that what hasn’t killed me has only made me stronger. I wouldn’t be who I am today without those struggles. Besides, I know all the pain I’ve been through, and I genuinely wouldn’t want anyone else to go through it, so I’d rather it be me than someone else. My strength and endurance come from the Lord, and I know He’s with me through every storm, and I really do appreciate all the lessons that come through every struggle I face.
