We live in a fast-paced world and work hard to build the life we envision for ourselves and those we love. If we aren’t careful, working hard for extended periods can burn us out. We must pace ourselves and ensure we care for our bodies and minds with rest and whatever else we need to keep going while avoiding burnout. The same rule applies when we’re overwhelmed by anything and everything going on around us. Taking a step back with some rest, unplugging from it all for a few minutes, and tuning in to our bodies can go a long way.
