Day #136 in A Year of Positivity

Since the movie Nonnas came out on Netflix, I’ve had it on my watch list. However, I grew excited when Grams said she’d like to watch it. Of course, Netflix already had it set up to play it with Italian audio and subtitles, so I switched it to English for Grams to watch and understand. I still enjoyed some scripted Italian in the movie. It was hilarious and emotionally touching, and I’ll be rewatching it in Italian. I was captured by a quote they said in the film: “Don’t let old hurts get in the way of new beginnings.” After yesterday’s quote, I knew this would be the perfect follow-up post. I’ve been feeling the sense of a chapter of my life closing, so to speak, and I haven’t been ready to let it go, but now I’m so inspired by this quote.
