Day #119 in A Year of Thanks

Day #119 in A Year of Thanks:
I’m thankful for Romans 8:18, “Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later.”

Sometimes, I get so wrapped up in worldly matters that I forget what’s waiting for me after the last chapter of my life in this state of existence is written according to the Lord’s will. Looking back on my life, seeing how it’s encompassed so much pain I’ve endured while suffering in silence, because I don’t like putting my burdens on others, this biblical quote is a beautiful reminder that none of the hardships I’ve been through will compare to what’s coming in the Kingdom of the Lord. Thank You, Abba, for this incredible reminder. I truly needed this right now to get out of my head, step back, and look at the bigger, brighter picture.
