Day #114 in A Year of Thanks:
I’m thankful the ground is warm enough to walk around barefoot.
Yes, I am that person who loves walking around barefoot in the grass. This past weekend marked the first time I could walk around in the cool blades of grass as the wind gently brushed the blades against my skin while I enjoyed the warm, fresh air. I even got to do it again this evening after work. Of course, I always have to watch where I am walking, so that I don’t accidentally step into a ground bee’s nest. I don’t know why I love walking barefoot on the grass. I just know that I do, and I appreciate every opportunity I can. I can never get enough of it. Here’s to a new season of enjoying the outdoors barefoot! π
