Day #107 in A Year of Thanks:
I’m thankful for Psalm 28:7, “The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust Him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.”

I look back at everything I’ve been through, all the tears and struggles. I used to think, “Why me?” Now, when I look in the rearview mirror of my life and everything that’s led up to this moment, I can’t help but think, “Why not me?” Every painful moment I’ve been exposed to, I honestly wouldn’t want anyone else to experience, not even my own worst enemy. Besides, if it wasn’t for all my struggles, I wouldn’t be as strong as I am today. I give all credit and glory to Abba, because He’s my strength and shield, and He’s the one who’s shaped me into who I am today. I trust Him with my life, and I trust Him to keep shaping me according to His will. Thank You, Abba!
