Day #91 in A Year of Thanks

Day #91 in A Year of Thanks:
I’m thankful for my new Yamaha YPT-210 keyboard.

A while ago, when the piano/keyboard course came out on Duolingo, I thought I’d give it a try. It surprised me how much I really enjoyed re-learning musical notes I’d long forgotten since elementary school, and I began to learn how to play music on the keyboard. I longed to play on a real keyboard, though I hadn’t gotten around to looking for and actually purchasing one. Then, earlier today, I got the biggest surprise. I’m a bit sad that one of my neighbors is moving to Alaska, but they aren’t taking anything with them and are giving their belongings away.

I am now the new (and happy) owner of a gently used, well-maintained Yamaha YPT-210 keyboard. Now I can learn more musical notes and practice on a real keyboard. I’ve had a lot of fun this evening exploring some of its features. I’m waiting for a couple of accessories I ordered online, which are expected to arrive on Thursday, and then I’ll have a lot of fun. Please guide me on my path to learning, Abba, and use me to praise You and play for You with my musical skills as I learn and grow.

Thank You, Abba, for this beautiful gift!
