Day #69 in A Year of Thanks:
I’m thankful that the online streaming algorithms are giving me suggestions on content in Italian.

The oddest thing happened when I turned on Amazon Prime earlier this evening to find a new show for Grams and me to watch. The last thing we watched was with English audio and subtitles. However, when we turned on the latest show, Amazon Prime played it with Italian audio and subtitles, even though it was originally filmed in English. Upon closer inspection, I saw other random recommendations for stuff to watch. Then, I realized that these other suggestions also had Italian audio and subtitles. Netflix is doing this as well. I’m stoked that the algorithms are working in my favor. This means I get to enjoy more exposure to the language, which is like sweet music to my ears!
