Day #61 in A Year of Thanks

Day #61 in A Year of Thanks:
I’m thankful for the Language Reactor browser extension.

I haven’t figured out yet how to gain access to Rai or RaiPlay to watch any authentic Italian content, so I currently use streaming services like Amazon Prime and Netflix to find anything filmed originally with Italian audio and Italian subtitles. One of the best real-time language learning tools in my arsenal is a totally awesome Google browser extension called Language Reactor. First and foremost, it can help you find content made in the language of your studies, and you can use the platform to watch Netflix and YouTube, read books, and even listen to podcasts and other audio file types. Additionally, you can change the speed of the content you’re watching or listening to, and some of it also has bilingual texts attached so that you can see the language you’re learning next to your native tongue. It really is an incredible tool. I wish I could also install it on my phone, but I’m so happy this language learning tool even exists, and it’s one I also believe everyone else needs if they’re learning one or more languages on top of their native one!
