Day #45 in A Year of Thanks

Day #45 in A Year of Thanks:
I’m thankful for 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”

Love isn’t easy, but nothing in life worth having is easy. There are so many different types of love, but they all build up from the same foundation. I believe 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 is one of the best quotes in the Bible. Putting it into daily practice can be challenging, but from personal experience in several areas of my life, it’s produced some incredible results. It’s vastly improved my personal relationships, such as with my grandmother and my best friend, and it’s also helped me to improve as a human being overall. Being a better person for myself and showing love to others, including strangers, has not only made a massive difference in how conversations flow and how bonds grow. It also produces a special kind of joy. I’ll never be perfect, but the Lord is still showing me new lessons in love, and I’m here for it as I continue to practice this incredible quote.
