Today’s post won’t share any special quote of positivity because I want to take it in a different direction. It is nearly impossible to be 100% positive all the time because we’re not robots. We are human beings with many complex emotions ranging from positive to negative, and that’s not necessarily bad. Events, situations, and illnesses arise periodically, stirring up negative emotions like anger, frustration, grief, sadness, etc. When this happens, we have to be able to move through those emotions, process them, and resolve their root causes, and in doing so, that allows us to move on in a healthy way rather than burying those emotions and putting off the much-needed self-care of our emotional, mental, and physical well-being.
It is okay to not be positive 100% all the time.
It is okay to not be okay. Your emotions are valid.
