Hello, everyone, and thank you for joining me on Day #62 in A Year of Positivity! Today’s quote comes from H. Jackson Brown, “When you can’t change the direction of the wind — adjust your sails.”

A lot of us usually have a plan to do certain things in our lives, whether it’s related to careers, families, traveling, etc. I know I’ve certainly had a few plans, though a lot has gotten in my way as well. This means the direction of the wind of my life has changed. I’ve often had to adjust the sails of my boat.

Life rarely goes exactly as the way we plan everything. Sometimes it’s frustrating, and other times it’s just an, “Oh, well, let’s try a different way of going about this,” or, “You know, maybe this isn’t meant to be. Maybe there’s something in store for me that’s better.” Sometimes, it can be handled a completely different way. When the wind of our plans doesn’t go according to plan, all we really need to do is adjust our sails, and we’ll keep moving forward.
