Day #11 in A Year of Positivity

“I believe that every person is born with talent.”
Maya Angelou

Ciao, folks, and welcome to Day #11 in A Year of Positivity! Today, we will discuss Maya Angelou’s quote, “I believe that every person is born with talent.”

I have to agree because the talents that we own are one of those things that makes us unique apart from everybody else on this planet, yet it’s something that we can all come together with. Talent comes in a wide variety of things, and it can come in some of the least expected things.

It can come from behind the scenes, like behind computers through graphic design and programming. It can shine on stage in musical concerts and Broadway, or on the water with things like surfing and scuba diving. It can be on camera through acting in commercials, movies, and television. It can displayed through art in museums or through books and graphic novels.

Talent can come through human services such as being leaders in hospitality. It can take the shape of being the person who helps those in need, and those who are less fortunate. It can shine through in cooking or being an interpreter in any given language.

It can come through for others in measures of healing (doctors, nurses, anesthesiologists, physical therapists, etc.). It can even shine through in the science field, which can touch a vast number of subjects from life itself to many ways of improving ourselves through health, etc.

Talent is beautiful. If you really think about it, it’s a form of creation and it has the power to connect us to each other in so many wondrous ways! It’s innovation, and it’s always coming up with fresh new meaningful ways to live our lives with more quality to our lives and our relationships. Talent is special and something that no one can take away from us.

What is, or are, your talent(s)? How will you use your talent(s) to improve the quality of your life and the relationships with everyone around you that you love?
